Location

Stanley Park is a great place for a picnic, swimming, canoeing and tobogganing. It is located along the Elbow River in southwest Calgary.

It is a very popular spot for dog owners, as there are numerous off leash parks throughout the area.

There are also a number of trails that run through the small park. The trail runs along the river and is a nice out-and-back.

The path is mostly on the edge of the water, which makes it very pleasant to walk on a hot day. It also gives you a chance to see the Stanley Park Pavilion and other buildings in the park.

There is also a pedestrian bridge over the river to Sandy Beach Park. This is a nice spot for people and dogs to have a picnic.

Located in southwest Calgary, Stanley Park is one of our city’s best inner city parks. It is home to a number of great amenities such as open playing fields, playgrounds, tennis courts and an outdoor swimming pool.
